Alfonso Ribeiro started his acting career at the age of eight.  He is an accomplished dancer who performed on a Pepsi commercial with Michael Jackson.

    His idols are McCaulay Caulkin, Michael Bolton and Tom Jones who he always wants to listen to on the show. As well as
acting, Alfonso also enjoys racing cars, riding motorbikes and watching TV, especially 'Saved By The Bell' and 'Beverly Hills
90210'.  He is currently living in Los Angeles.

    His voice has been featured on several single recordings, including 'Dance Baby,' 'Not Too Young (To Fall in Love)', 'Time
Bomb' and 'Sneak Away with Me'.  He is currently working on a solo album to be produced by Will Smith.  He appears in the music video for the single 'Wild Wild West' by Will Smith.

    He plays Will's cousin in 'The Fresh Prince Of Bel - Air', called Carlton Banks.  Carlton is a good 'little' daddy's boy, but he often gets into trouble with the help of Will.  Will constantly takes the mick out of him for being small and not attracting the ladies.

    Alfonso is now seen in a new sitcom in America starring LL Cool Jay.  He plays a manager of a gym, called Dr. Maxwell
Stanton and is constantly disagreeing with LL Cool Jay who plays Marion Hill in the show.

    For his work in 'The Fresh Prince Of Bel - Air' and 'In The House' he won the best image award for both of the shows in
1996 and 1998.  He was again nominated for the same award in 1999 for 'In The House' but he didn't regain the award.
